October LYF

The October Halloween Party was a hit!

We started the night with the name game, which Tricia & Cami won!

With 30 plus people, that's pretty impressive to remember everyone.

We took a moment to remember one of our dear Friends Jason, who was a member of our group and who passed away last week.

He will be dearly missed.

Then, we started the activities.

Gourd painting.

These strange shapes were perfect for silly/spooky faces.

Em was a perfect witch hovering over her brew.

(aka rootbeer)

Another activity was "Don't Eat Pete". It was one of the highlights of the night.

Some played for the very 1st time and did great.

Smiling faces all around.

I think Tyson was having a blast, don't you?

Natalie was an excellent painter.

Ron Weasley and a real live ninja made appearances last night

Our youngest member of the night.

The next activity was our pumpkin carving contest.

Here are the cutters showing off their muscles.

We separated into teams and had 15 minutes to make pumpkin creations.

Just look at these handsome guys & gals.

Then came time for the judges to evaluate the pumpkins.

After much deliberation, the verdict....the winner is.....

Everyone!!!! They were all so amazing the judges ruled it a tie!

Next came the spooky movie! "Hocas Pocus".

During the movie we received a green visitor from outer-space!

I think Joseph almost wet himself....

Twice :)

Then, Michael saved the day and banished the scary green visitor.

We had such an amazing turn out and had lots of help.

Thank you for making this the best Halloween party ever!
